We need your Help


Logistics Volunteers: Support volunteers (aged 30+) who have a heart for young people and who wish to donate their time and skills to support young people.  These volunteers will be the “behind the scenes” team who make sure that the Festival runs smoothly. Typical roles will include setting up and dismantling the Festival , general logistics,  technical and AV support, stage hands, ushers, help desk kitchen/service of meals, refilling of drinks stations, first aid etc.

    As part of our risk management process we ask that all volunteer applicants provide us with contact details for an appropriate referee who can speak about you.   This might be a Diocesan Youth Office staff member, a parish/community leader or similar.   The referee should not be a blood relative to you.

    Please provide the name and contact details of a referee who will provide a reference for you. It is preferable that the person knows of your work in a Church context. We will ask questions about your skills and suitability to assist with the Festival.

About Us.

The Festival is organised by the New Zealand Catholic Bishops Conference newly established Council for Young People.  This group is set up to support a national vision for Catholic ministry with young people, run and support national projects for young people and share best practice across all Catholic organisations that minister with young people.
